Welcome to GMC

Gwent Mountaineering Club (or GMC) is a group of friendly outdoor enthusiasts keen on all aspects of mountains and mountaineering. The club’s activities include hillwalking, scrambling, rock and ice climbing and general mountaineering. Based in South East Wales, we hold mid-weekly and weekend climbing and walking events, social events and trips around the UK and abroad throughout the year.
