Thirteen Welsh Three Thousands
Gwent Mountaineering Club was established in 1976.  The club has a membership approaching one hundred throughout South East Wales and beyond. We cater for all abilities and activities in mountaineering.
Our members have a wide range of interests:- walking, backpacking, scrambling, rock climbing, ice climbing, alpinism, mountain biking, mountain marathon walking and fell running.
We give people the opportunity to take up new activities as well as to improve their own ability in mountaineering.

Up and Coming Meets:

12th May – Wednesday Climb – New Tredegar  ***Weather could change date or location.  If you are interested and not on members climbers list please contact our membership secretary John Jones who can provide up to date details.***

13th May – Thursday Evening Walk – Bryn Du and Fan Fawr (Navigation)

16th May – Sunday Walk – Bluebell Walk from Michel Troy (10 miles)
